Mama on A Mission

Xia Mingzhu, chairwoman of the Xia conglomerate, vanished after a car crash—only to be rescued by adopted daughter Wang Shiyue. With amnesia and renamed Wang Lan, she survives for 13 years as a broken-spirited waste collector, her regal bearing eroded by hunger and humiliation. The cruel twist? When Xia Group’s heir Xia Junsheng (her biological son) orders the bulldozing of her slum, Wang Lan and Shiyue endure his sneering contempt—never knowing the tyrant mocking their poverty is the child she once cradled.
