She uncovers Chen Wenjuan's past through her diary, feeling compassion and vowing to fulfill her three written wishes: expose the crimes of Chen Yufang and her daughter, reunite with her father, and be with her true love. Alongside Lu Xingchuan, Lan Qi revitalizes a factory, leveraging her chemical expertise to transform it into a thriving business, even expanding overseas. Her former adversaries gradually admire her. Distinct from traditional sweet era dramas, Lan Qi is kind, independent, wise, and brave, upholding justice and fairness. Lu Xingchuan, a rebellious young man against feudal traditions, joins her in overcoming obstacles, revitalizing the factory, and leading villagers to a better life.
