Impressed by his skill, Aki begs him to help save her friend and fellow student, Saera Kashiwagi Pendragon, from the clutches of a Dark Lord, which he reluctantly agrees to.After assisting them, Aki, Saera, and their friend Yukine Indou insist on apprenticing with Yashiro. Despite his attempts to dissuade them from the dangers of bounty hunting, the trio believes that Yashiro is their key to becoming full-fledged Braves, leaving him to reluctantly give in. With each new threat they encounter, Yashiro will try to convince them that the three students are not cut out for bounty hunting, but they may just prove him wrong.
