Lin He, a modern agricultural researcher, transmigrates to ancient times and is forced to marry Huo Zheng, an exiled military household. Drawing on her agricultural expertise, she grows high-yield sweet potatoes on the barren frontier land and leads villagers out of poverty to prosperity. She also builds greenhouses and manufactures military supplies, helping her husband win meritorious feats on the battlefield. In the end, Huo Zheng is titled the General Assisting the Nation, and Lin He receives the title of Honorary Lady. The two stage a comeback together and gain a fulfilling life.
