When battle witch Elara loses control of her magic during an academy trial, her bonded S-rank fox, Kieran, calls her dirty, kicks her off a cliff, and rushes to save her sister instead. After surviving, Elara breaks their bond and contracts with a pair of unwanted serpent twins—one who can soothe her shattered core, and one willing to break every rule to protect her. By the time Kieran regrets betraying her, Elara no longer needs the tenderness he never gave.
